Any chance that the air will come out below S$1k(since no need a discrete GPU;which adds to price)?
BTW, this news was known since yesterday.
i aiming new imac
Uh, if not Foxconn then where else will it be made?
Samsung supplies the parts for Apple, but Foxconn has to make the motherboards.
And this is another waste of money; get the Asus UX series and be unique.
From Core 2 Duo jump straight to Core i7 ah. I have been waiting for the Apple to wake up with regards to their MacBook Air range since....(i also forget when)

UX will be out much later then air.
Specs wise, the UX is thinner than core2 air but bigger in dimensions. And I think it will be more expensive.

Well of course it's larger.
But that means we actually have a competitor against Apple for those people who don't wish to use this failure known as OS X.
Granted, it's a good and stable OS to some, and perfect for those who don't know how to surf the Net with their brains.
But an OS in which you have to use a command line interface just to turn off mouse acceleration is a failure.

But from what I know, OS X has an advantage against Windows, OS X can use the power of the graphics for applications.
And so can Windows.

Really? In what way?
Certain applications like the newer iterations of Photoshop and Lightroom are able to use GPU accelerated processing to help complete a work order faster.
If you're talking about acceleration in Windows itself, then it's:
a) Pointless
And therefore
b) Does not exist.
Seriously, what acceleration do you need in Windows?
More power to play Minesweeper?
Anyone know can go where to buy macbook air? only online?
Retail stores, duh?
