how about the middle priced one from asus isit good?
er sorry to bother but there is 2 version one is gtx ti hawk? one is twin frozr ii
if i get the msi one will i be in budget? 1500~
Asus isn't bad either. Just that i find the MSI card cooler. The HAWK edition is the has higher clock than the Twin Frozr. Both uses the same. Go for the HAWK edition if you want MSI card.
Yes. You will be in budget.
i built 1 with $350 without dvd
thats all?
asus p8p67 pro intel p67 $158
i5-2500k $300
corsair xms3 4gb ddr3 ran $50
palit gtx560ti sonic $329
WD caviar black 500gb $55
asus dvd burner $25
cooler master elite 430 $80
win7 64bit $115
PS $100
did i miss anything?
For RAM, i doubt it cost only $50. A kingston ram already cost $54. Corsair can't be cheaper than Kingston.
But yeah. Those should be all. And your PSU CM GX650 should cost around $135. Btw where did you get the price for your MOBO from? The price for your MOBO is $310. You should get the Asus P8P67-M PRO B3 instead. It's much cheaper. With the CPU, it should cost around $572.
All my prices are taken from here http://www.tradepac.com.sg/pricelist250511.pdf.
which ram is better kingston or corsair?
sorry corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 cl9 1x4gb is $99 i think i would be getting 2x4gb @$195
so for MOBO better to get p8p67PRO B3 whats the different between the one you mention and the one i mention?
what u ment is MOBO + processor is $572 right?
sorry for being a noob and keep asking some silly question
Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 CL9 (2X4Gb) 8GB @$229 ??price diff so much?
btw source : http://www.bellsystems.com.sg/UploadedImg/Pricelist%206%20MAY.pdf
FOUND IT asus p8p67 pro b3 + i5-2500k $523
There's no real significance between the 2 MOBOs.
As for RAM, no difference also unless you are going to overclock it. If you are going to use it as it is, just get the Kingston one.
you mean no difference between 4 or 8gb of ram?
No difference between the frequency of the RAM. Kingston's one is 1333MHz and the Corsair's one is 1600MHz. If you're using it as it is, then it makes no difference. No point spend extra over something that's not of use to you.
so more ram dont really mean better? i think some games need certain amount of ram
Nope.Only the capacity matters. 4GB is actually more than enough for current games even for Crysis 2.
wa that game famous for being very demanding i heard my friend say this game need a very good spec computer to run it "smoothly" his computer not bad but still cant run at max resolution
It depends on what is your "max settings". As for me, i'm running it at 1600x900, high settings in the game. There's only 3 settings in the game ; High, Highest and Extreme. It's the GPU that matters more. Not the RAM.
Or consider this:
Intel Core i5 2400 (you probably are not overclocking)
ASUS P8P67-M
4GB KVR DDR3-1333
Sapphire Radeon HD6870
WD5001AAKS Caviar Blue
CM341/AeroCool QS200 Chassis
Samsung SH-223C SATA DVDRW
FSP Aurum 400 PSU
CM Vortex CPU Cooler.
With this you'll have quite a bit of budget left to pick up a good monitor.
Something like a Dell Ultrasharp U2311H for $289.
I offer PC assembly services, should you be interested.
BTW: CoolerMaster GX series are crap.
Stay away from CoolerMaster power supplies.
The quality of output power is dirty over a certain load level (250W for the GX650), they are overpriced (for less than $135 you can get yourself a very nice FSP Aurum 500, which is 80PLUS Gold Certified, much more efficient and will definitely last a lot longer).
just curious
i5-2400 3.1GHz 6MB cache
Asus P8P67 Pro (Intel P67) Mainboard
w/SATA 3 / USB3.0 / G.Bit Lan /HD Sound
Palit GTX 560 Ti 1GB DDR5 HDMI Graphic
Kingston Hyper-X PC3-1600 (2GB x2) 4GB
WD Caviar Black 1TB 64MB SATA 3 HDD
LG 24X DvD-Writer SATA
CoolerMaster Elite 310 / 335 Case
Andyson F600M Modular 80 Plus PSU
Logitech Media Combo MK200 (K/B + Mouse)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM)
worth 1435?
+25 i5-2500(3.3ghz)
Elite 310 is a crap case. Save $10 by dropping it to a small Elite 341 which is smaller and has far better cooling.
P8P67-PRO drops to a P8P67-M. You won't be overclocking, no need for an OC board here.
Get a Sapphire 6870 which provides performance roughly on par and will be cheaper to boot.
Hyper-X RAM can be changed to regular KVR-1333's.
Last but not least, the F600M is an older, inefficient by today's standards and overkill power supply.
All you need is an FSP Aurum 400 to power your rig just fine.
Surely the above system is worth 1.5k.
But with the above savings you can top up some more cash to purchase a very awesome 23" Full HD monitor. With an IPS panel.
