windows 7 laptop tremendous lag

  hello guys. i've having a big lag issue with my windows 7 laptop..

  it was working fine in the morning, but when i used it in the afternoon, it had a huge lag.

   

  after i login pass the user page to the desktop, it becomes too lag, can't move cursor, cant click on anything... cant even shut down, the cursor becomes an hour glass when moved to the start button...

   

  tried in safe mode also same lag. 

  anyone knows how to fix? or my laptop is gone case alr ? :(

   

  so weird, first time happening..

   

  now when i boot my laptop, the icons on desktop keeps appearing and disappearing... like 2mins interval... and same amount of lag...

  Sounds like a software issue.

   

  So do you mean during the login page the cursor is working fine?

   

  If your laptop has warranty, you should send it for repair.

  more details required. 

  1. Any software installed and windows update installed.
  2. Did you get any unexplained pop ups telling you to tune up your pc or an unknown antivirus pops up to tell you there are infected items in your laptop
  3. Do you have important data? and is it to the point where it's more or less un usable.
  4. Any tell tale signs faced the days before (bsod, hangs, crashes) or is it just *BAM* out of the blue it lags.
  5. Specify the make and model.

  It sounds like your laptop has been corrupted with a virus. You better have it checked by a computer technician.
