actually i know how... there is a symbol of the keyboard screw at the below of the laptop... juz tat the G42 dont have the popup thingy (the speaker area if u see other HP keyboard replacement video in youtube)....
if u're not sure, plz dun try to change the parts urself..
otherwise anything fix wrongly might just go BOOMZ..
it will boomz only if u didnt unplug the ac adapter or the battery :D
if ur lappy is kinda old, might as well get a new one rather than replacing the keyboard..
the megatex fair is still ongoing iirc..
I think i can't coz i use the idiot way to fix the keyboard =X

Follow the advise of the forumers. If you G42 is still under warranty go for the warranty to replace the keyboard - it will be free unless it's physical - aka balding keys - which in some cases are fixed free on a case by base basis. Anything related to under the keys aka below the alphas - the white plastic connectors from the pcb to the keys are considered interior parts.
(It seems new since it's an i3 core)
You will be voiding any warranty if you do it yourself.
Anyways. I have seen a Fujitsu engineer disassemble a keyboard before to replace it during an on site warranty, and I highly reccommend you not to do so. You literally have to unscrew from top to bottom (aka remove ram, remove wireless card pins, disconnect the mainboard etc.)
HP offers a free delivery service back to your house once it's fixed so you don't have to go down to collect it. So please don't invite trouble and cry for help from us when you finally brick your laptop.
