Macbook air vs Macbook

  Hey guys! Any suggestions if getting the macbook air is better than macbook?

  For macbook air, if you are getting the 11 inch one than i dont think is a good idea to partition it to windows. But it is still possible if you are getting the 13 inch one. And for the 13 inch one is faster in switching between appliactions since it is a flash storeage compared to macbook

  But for macbook air you would not have the keyboard back light then. And i think they only have 2 usb port. 

  If you are always carrying your laptop around i think getting macbook 13 inch one will be good.

  i want to use it as my main laptop. and mostly i use my laptop for sch work and watching videos only. haha

  Macbook Air does not have an optical disk drive, so if you require one, you're better off with macbook/pro.

  If watch videos only, jus go ahead buy air much much much much much better than pro, pro is needed for gaming , heavy video editing, but ithnk for u casual gaming, school work, watch vid, air is more than better, oh and buy the macbook air, also buy online in apple educational store , you will get discount since you student, and get the 13 inch model, 11 inch tooo small de

  Get a basic netbook or laptop.

  Can you actually justify forking out more than $2k for this just to watch videos and surf the Net?
  
  I know it looks cool and shit, but my 10 year old Dell Dimension 8200 can play 720p videos too.
