Teleporting Delay?

Is for my little cousin. He got problem for this lagging i think. Previously it's not like this but ever since he install the new anti-virus, its been .. well i not gonna say lag his pc. But the online games he played is getting delays like his character would teleport here and there and then suddenly he got attacked by some monsters. I check the anti-virus but im not sure what to do. Its a mcCafee. Anyone know how to solve this lagness/delay?

Yes, don't let the computer run any programs that take bandwidth while he's playing the game.

The "PC" you mentioned is desktop or laptop?
And connected to internet using wired or wireless?
Antivirus can slow down application, including games, reponse times and also affects internet latency slighty. You could try uninstalling the antivirus to confirm if that was the issue.
