Good To Use More Than 1 Anti-Virus ?

  i now got 3 liao....................

  AVG...................Microsoft Security Essentials..................Avast.........(all free one lah)

   

  i heard it's not good to use more than 1....................if use 2 got any problem ?

  if i have to use 1...................iwhich of the above 3 should i use ?

  It is okay to have more than one anti-virus, but only leave one active at a time.

  Having more than one active could lead to conflicts (between bboth aantivirus) and crash your computer.

   

  I think Avast free is the best free currently, if security is your main concern then go with Avast else go with MSE.

   

  I myself have no anti-virus installed currently, just using sandboxie for browser protection.

  1 is more than enough.

  Having multiple anti-virus conflicts with the system and might result in Windows to crash.

  I would advise to use only one. Having more than one AV can cause system resource conflicts, slowdowns and unreliable behaviour of the system in question. 

  I would suggest using either MSE or Avast, though personally I'm more partial to Avast, having used it for years.

  I think some of the free anti virus is very irritating. One it slow ur comp. Two is when ur comp kana virus it will not notify u...

  I used norton internet security.

  I like It.

  It never slow my com.

  I use Avira Antivir. It detects at a high rate.

  the biggest joke is that my AVG detected the same 2 viruses very often.....................from Norton itself !!!

   

  and at a time when my free Norton subscription is expiring....................LOL

   

  looks like Norton desperate for business liao.................

  I believe that is just wrong detection by AVG. And, you don't really require having an antivirus installed in system, just a portable antivirus into a thumbdrive and you can scan at any time(without slowing down the system).

  BUT ANTI-VIRUS on pc will block virus mah.................plus spyware..............

   

  if kana virus then scan too late liao leh
