Hi I just got my iPhone yesterday and I signed up for the "Apple ID" as it is required for downloading apps (keyed in my debit card details too). I've downloaded a couple of free apps yesterday and I noticed there is a earmark of S$2 in my bank account this morning.
The apps say FREE so are they going to charge me S$2 for those FREE APPS?
Can anyone explain this to me please?
Thank you very much.
I do not own any apple products, but i think you should call and check with apple or whoever the app provider.
In iTunes:
Go to iTunes Store
At Right hand corner, click on your email address
A box will pop up asking for your password
Type it in and press View Account
You will go to Account Information
Click on Purchase History
That's where you can see what kind of stuff you have made purchases on.
If there are any errors, you can click Report a Problem.
2 likely scenarios though.
1. You bought something without realizing it.
2. You made an in-game purchase (like buying the big eagle in Angry Birds). The app might be free, but the item will still be charged.
Hi ThunderFbolt, thank you very much for your very detailed explaination. I went to click on Purchase History and I'm able to see the whole list of apps that I've downloaded and all are FREE. I guess this S$2 earmark maybe a verification or something but they won't take your money.. ummmm... scratch head....
Really appreciate your help ThunderFbolt :-)
think you should check it out with the bank then. i've never seen a S$2 miscellaneous charge on my card before from iTunes.
