error during game

  when i played a game halfway, a message pop out" the exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occurred in the application at location 0x101ee63d. Click on Ok to terminate the program"  And almost everytime this happened when i played halfway. And is very frustrating.
  
  Can anyone help me solve this problem?, thank

  What game is that?

  It could be an in-game problem, you might want to check out with that game's GM/administrator to see if they have any idea about the problem.

  There are various causes to the same issue.

  1) Bad programming.

  2) Faulty DIMM (usually on the video card)

   

  First thing to do is get updated fixes for the game. Check the game's compatibility with the OS you are running.

  Lastly, try another 3D game for an hour.

  If the other 3D game works fine, it is most likely game issue.

  If it stops playing exactly halfway, or around the same area, it's most likely a fault of bad programming or a compatibility issue.

  Anyway, we need to know what game you're playing. Different games have different solutions to the same error, especially one as vague as this.

  Could you provide the following information:

  CPU

  Graphics card

  Application in question

  Was it working fine previously,  before any changes were made?

  Does the same problem arise in other games?
