Qosmio F60 OR Alienware M11X

  Which is better , Qosmio F60 (i7 processor) OR Alienware M11X (i5 processor) I NEED SERIOUS help in this . Thank you so much ! :-)

  You stated i7 for the F60, so it is either 14U or 140.

  Anyway M11X only come with UM(ultra low power) version, so if you need speed i suggest you dont go for it. But if power consumption is your target then it should be okay.

  But i would suggest you go for a Sandy Bridge version instead, if you can wait two weeks or so, it is more energy efficient, runs faster and should be cheaper too. Do note that Sandy Bridge comes with powerful integrated graphics which should suffice for mainstream games, that is if you play games.

  I wanna use it for gaming the most . I'm into splendid graphics and above average speed ( Above average speed may be not the best but just above average for this generations). So guys , any info , tips or opinions etc ? Thank you :-)

  above average speed for graphics i assume?

  Anyway, you might want to go with the latest core i7 quad core laptops.(sandy bridge)

  They are much better now...and dont cost an arm and a leg like they do in the past.

  Sandy bridge is better then the other 2 stated above in terms of intel ? But any other gaming notebooks that are better in terms of above average speed and graphics ? You mentioned sandy bridge , any particular lappies were built in with that ?

  But i think i'll pick Alienware m15x as the number 5th in the whole gaming notebook in the planet :-D . What do you think ?

  I have no opinions about the M15X.

  But the previous generation laptops are already overshadowed by the new ones.

  Take the i7 2630QM for example, i have calculated its price to be around US218(SGD280)  where previously a quad core processor would cost at least 500-600.

  unless you dont like its TDP(45W), if not, i dont see any reason to go for previous generation laptops. But dual core Sandy Bridge is coming in just 9 days.

  On top of that, M15X doesn't have an upgrade on the graphics side.

  Woah , kayy cool . So , Any particular laptop you recommend me to purchase since it's better then 15x ? Or should wait for the 9 days and see which laptops have that Sandy thingy ?
