FX Docuprint 203A - OS not supported.

  Hi Users, i got a problem with my printer which is FX Docuprint 203A , I'm running it on an OS of Windows 7 x64 bit. When i try to install the printer on my laptop, all else appears on the installation interface but when it loads to the setup/configuration wizard it states the following.. "This OS version is not supported. Please check the system requirements for your model and install on proper OS Version." It states clearly that USB cables and it only support Win98/2000/XP/Vista.. It doesn't support windows 7 at all.. I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the driver that supported windows 7 Operating system and to my surprise.. it's a folder which carry alot of DL_ File, XL_File The folder name is "dp203a_V3_pcl_v325" I went to microsoft website to find out how about do i go installing it and nothing seems to work. Fuji Xerox didn't provide any guideliness about updating driver or installing new one so that the CD can run on my OS which is Windows 7. Can any of you out there please help me get this quagmire overhauled.. I'm despondent purportedly and i need to print out alot of document and submit it to my lecturer when school re-opens in a week. Please help me with how do i go about to install the driver which i just downloaded to the existing on via View file explorer when CD is inserted... When i do that it states please burn a CD/Write... Please help? Thank you very much

  1st thing first: This is a old model of printer. Sometimes, old version just dont support X64 of the Windows, even if you use X64 of Windows Vista.

  2nd thing: While theoritically possible, usually it seldom happens, where a driver is certified to be compatible with Vista turns ugly in Windows 7.

  3rd thing: Sometimes some drivers, regardless a printer or not, just a painful installation. Well, I have seen a lot of weird weird file without a exe program to install on. For this, go to Computer -> Properties (Right click) -> Device Manager and look for any exclamation marks or not. If yes, then try to pin point to that folder contains weird files dl from your manufacturer site. If no, then scan for hardware changes and try again. If still cannot, then maybe try adding legacy drivers (Which may not workdue to X64 drivers arent legacy anyway)
