Monitor Problem

  Everytime i start my pc, my monitor will still be black with its led power blinking yellow and no lights repeatly. I have to turn off the monitor led power and have to wait around 10mins and on the power and the monitor will work normally.

  Anyone know whats the problem?

  Since you know that the led power blinks yellow, you should check out your monitor's manual, or search online if you lost it.

  From the sound of it, it seems that your desktop is experiencing a very slow start up or has issues sending an output signal to the monitor. 

  Here are some ways to check it.

   

  1. Do not power on your CPU, switch on your monitor only, see if the lights blink and flicker like what you described above. If so, it is in standby mode meaning a PC issue (go on to no.2/no.3 to verify it)
  2. Get another monitor to rule out the possibility of a PC problem. If the monitor works without the symptoms you mentioned, it is the monitor's fault. 
  3. If you have another netbook/laptop/desktop lying around, connect that monitor to it. If issue presists, it's a fault with the monitor
