When will be the best time to buy a PC?

  Hi.

  I want to buy a desktop.

  dont know when to buy....

  In the end of the year?

   I think the price should be lower....but maybe most of the hardware will be "sold out"..

   

  Ps,here is a recommandation from my friend

   

  what will be the total cost?

   

   

  Giga mama-board  770t-ud3p  AMD 640          kingston ddr3 2G mem. WD  500G     gts25  1G  Huntkey dh6 pwer supply.

  if u know how to DIY, anytime at SLS is best time
  
  if u want a packaged set, wait for those PC shows, IT shows

  they happen 4 times a year, 1 each quarter

  Just go out and get it this week.

  Otherwise you can permanently wait for the ideal moment.

  Price get lower as the latest models or technology comes in.

  Last year's PC are all going cheap.

  Maybe you want to wait for the release of intel "sandy bridge" or AMD "Bulldozer" processor.

  how come nowadays all the PC so expensive ah ???

  last time got 400+ leh without Monitor but now all close to 1000 bucks.............

   

  if DIY how much ah just for the PC without LCD...............i only need to surf the net...........i don't play games one...........

  you usage get netbook can oredi. 700~800 dollars can bget a brand new one in retails.

  netbook the screen very small leh..............plus they tend to heat up quickly.............

  1)  AMD Athlon runs very hot right ? i very scared it will overheat leh.............

  2) Biostar motherboard ?  is Biostar a good brand like Gigabyte ?

  I bought 2 netbook at $365 each.

  So far, my kid say it is ok but slow (probably he's using 2mbps wireless).

  surf net only and general applications. if the most heavy application you go is watch videos movies online thten probably it will heat up more. get a notbk colling fan can do. 14 inch also quite cheap right? your application surf net no problem lah. ipad and handphone screen even more smaller right? riht the replies after me here some can get even cheaper than my suggested prices range.

  From the ts description and the specs of the pc, ts is going for the high end usage.

  mai lah.........laptops the screen too small lah...........plus i aways very scared will heat up.............
