I've bought a new Creative SBS A320 Sound System with 2 speakers and 1 woofer. After setting up and all (no installation disc required), I've tested the system. So far so good, but the bass from the woofer seems to be too soft even though I've set it to the max volume. Can only feel it very slightly.. Can I be my configurations are wrong or is it just like that?
Please assist.
Thanks!

Did you set your audio driver to output 2.1 instead of 5.1?
Because when u set to 5.1, only when there is more bass(like explosion in a movie), the bass is then passed via another 'output jack' to the subwoofer.
If you listen to a song while in 5.1 setting, the bass is usually attenuated and only the front two speakers produces sound.
But you are using 2.1, so there isnt another wire for the subwoofer that connects to your computer
I hope im right, cos im too poor to experiment with 5.1
2:
Did you turn the 'volume' knob for the bass up?(If any)
3:
Loosely inserted audio cable will also caused the same problem
4:
Wrongly inserted audio cable(plugging the cable into the microphone port, and selecting that port as the audio output, will cause a little decrease in quality)
Where do I set it to 2.1? There's only settings to change 2Ch, 4Ch, 6Ch and 8Ch..
2.1 is the same as 2 channel
Actually, it's not exactly the same, because you have a subwoofer(the .1), but it works.
It's set a 2 channel already.. My woofer is still so weak.. Or is it like that? :s

I believe it is normal.
Same thing with mine.(not problem)
No point changing to 5.1 surround if the speaker was made for 2.1.
Look on the speaker or subwoofer, they probably will write the channel.
I thought of changing mine to 5.1 like pillow said, but decided not to as i noticed 2.1 written on the subwoofer.
Maybe you can try to turn up the volume of the woofer(if possible?)
Try changing songs
And if you just came back from a place with sound system that is better than yours and listen back to yours, it will sound weak.

The volume of the woofer is maxed already.
Tried changing, still very soft.
I find it soft even after I just wake up xD
The woofer is weak.
Nothing wrong with it.
SBS series are entry level apparatus.
Don't expect bass the scale of an MX6021 from these speakers.
