Aero peek keeps coming on and off, though i believe i have disabled it.
I have unchecked "Use aero peek to disable the desktop".
Aero shake and aero snap is disabled too.
But my desktop keeps changing between aero and non-aero every few minutes, i didnt have this problem in the past.
I have just re-installed the OS, not the first time re-installing OS but first time this is happening.
Then maybe you screwed something up.
Re-install again.

Though i don't know how this problem occur, but i manage to solve it by changing to window basic theme.
Then don't use an SSD.
Simple.
Many of us here survive on single HDD.
Or if we need speed, we RAID.
SSD's for e-peen only.
Get a life.
