ISOs for different Windows OS

  Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for ISOs for most Windows OS.

  This will be useful for those of you who buy prebuilt desktops, or laptops that do not come with Windows CD.

  Download the ISO, burn to a disc and proceed to use it to install.

   

  Note that no illegal links are allowed here. ISOs posted in this thread will have to link to a CD-only download, no cracks.

  IMPORTANT NOTE FOR  USERS who are using OEM operating systems.

  Please DO NOT download and reinstall your operating system with the links above. Your product keys are not able to be used with the links above.OEM product keys do not work on non OEM operating systems and like wise non OEM product keys don't work on OEM operating system.

  Refer to point 3 (below) that I have made for instructions to reinstall your operating system. 

  How do you know if your operating system is an OEM operating system:

   

  1. If you buy it from a computer manufacturer such as Fujitsu, Acer, HP, Sony, Gateway.. 
  2. When it's stated OEM, on the label. Stated below are the OEM labels for Windows Vista, however, regardless of any operating system, if it's OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) it will state OEM on the label. 
     
  3. Some manufacturers provide DVDs and recovery modules for the res installation of your operating system in the case of a major computer fault. Most of them would require you to burn your own DVDs instead. If you did burn your recovery DVDs, just place it in your DVD drive and run it when it's starting up. (Sometimes It may require you to change the boot up options via the bios for it to work) If you have not burnt your recovery DVDs refer to point 4 (below)
  4. Most if not all manufacturers have their recovery modules built into a partition in the hard disk, some maybe hidden partitions while others could be listed "(D:)Recovery." or something along that line. If you had not done anything with it like formatting that partition for space, you should be able to recover your PC nevertheless without any CD.  Most of these recovery modules can be done from your bios and this differs from PC manufacturers.  Steps can be found readily online via a search on Google or the manufacturer's support page. If you are still in doubt, you can post a thread here.

  my label says Windows7 Pro OA...so its neither a retail version nor an OEM version?

  I will be adding support for OEM versions shortly.

  Recovery partition only puts back all the crapware I work so hard to remove from the system.
