Hmm... You should be using Windows 7 64bit. I presume if u have bought an upgrade DVD, it is automatically included 2 copies and no refund from your store is required. If you buy a brand new PC and upgraded it to 8GB RAM then ho seh liao.
BTW, why are you using integrated graphics, for a viewpoint of a professional media works? Since you are using integrated graphicsas below source from u
Video memory: 1024MB
system Video memory: 0MB
Shared system memory: 1275MB
Then you will still using like 7GB or 6.5GB of RAM after you have changed to 64bit version of Windows. (Windows 7 64 bit)

I doubt he has integrated graphics.
He has 1024MB of video memory, indicating a 1GB framebuffer on his GPU. The shared system memory may be due to technologies like AMD HyperMemory or Nvidia TurboCache using up system memory to increase the amount of framebuffer available for programs to use.

Total available memory: 2299MB
Video memory: 1024MB

Shared system memory: 1275MBall of this adds up to around 4GB only. how do i make use all the FULL 8GB?
i need to use After effects (RAM eater) and needs high RAM to do it.
If you're using 32-bit OS, it supports up to 4GB RAM only so that will be the problem.
BTW, what OS you using? and what you mean by advance display settings?
If he really is using a discrete GPU, shouldn't the video memory be separate?
Only windows 7 64 bit can support up to 8gb.
