Anyone have any experience with 3rd party laptop battery?
Any websites to reccomend?

Thx for the advice. but my lappy is 6 yrs old so i dun think its worth it to pay $200 for the battery.

It will be even worse if you get a third party battery and it messes up your laptop.
my Compaq is more than 3 years old. I insisted on buying original battery knowing that it still lasts better than 3rd party batteries. also, better build quality.

Also the issue with compatibility, each laptop and each battery is different.
Most laptops uses different voltage and ampere.
And most battery is designed specifically for a type of laptop, or a few maybe.
TS, you can try purchase battery from a shop at level 2 call uni cell at SLS.

It's up to you. If it's a 6 year old laptop, I would desk bond it, remove the old battery and use it as a desktop.
Just like what I'm using now, for my 3 year old HP.
Anyway, be expected to still pay $40- $100 for the battery. There are no guarantees that it will last, and power up your laptop for 2-3 hours.
