My CPU is locked @ 2.93GHz and even after tuning the Intel Turbo Boost on, i still see 2.93GHz on Prime95-_- wonder what is wrong?
Pc specs:
CPU: Core i7-870
Mobo: P55A UD3
Rams: 8GB 4x2GB DDR3
GPU: Radeon 5850
Thanks!
And my turbo boost multiplyer is only 24 and the base clock is 133mhz... tat's only around 3.13GHz. On intel's website it says 3.6GHz hahaha.

Yeah your turbo boost is working, since the original multiplier is 22x.
One thing to note, intel is not wrong by saying it could reach up to 3.6Ghz.
The turbo is 2/2/4/5. And i see that your first few are working fine.
All four cores used = 2x more multiplier of original
three cores used = 2x more multiplier of original
two cores used = 4x more multiplier of original = 3.467Ghz
Only one core used and you get 5x more multiplier of the original which is 3.6Ghz.
hope you understand what i mean. =)
