I have a PC with 160GB. When I bought the PC, the vendor partition the disk to 2 with C:\ 30GB and D:\ 120GB.
C:\ is being used for all the program files and D:\ data
The problem now is C:\ is full and D:\ just using 10GB. Therefore the program also give me disk full during execution. How can I increase the C:\ to 80GB or totally remove D to make C:\ 160GB without affecting my programs and data?
HELP!!! I'm a computer config noob
Try this if you're on Vista or 7:

The easiest way would be to borrow an external HDD, transfer the 10GB of files on D: to it, delete D: and then extend C: to use up the entire disk volume. Finally, copy the files from the external HDD back to your HDD.
If you're using Windows XP and below, things get pretty tricky:

I have created a simple guide here:
http://sgforums.com/forums/2250/topics/395693
Look at the first image of header 1.1 and the first image of header 1.2
Follow the steps in these two images.
Ignore the rest of the images.
I have hit a problem here. I cant change ir to FAT32 at step 6. Also C:/ is a primary partition there I cannot extend this partition.
