QUESTION ON DESKTOP UPGRADE

Hi People,
Below is my current desktop spec:
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600
2048MB DDR2
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400GS 3D
The problem i am facing now is that whenever i play high end game like bad company 2, it will get very laggy. I am thinking of getting a upgrade on the graphic card, so the question is:
1] Which graphic card should i get?
2] Do i need to upgrade my processor and ram to support my graphic card?
3] How much will i have to spend?
Please help me.

ram and cpu no need for upgrades:) enuf for bc2:) as for your graphics card get a radeon hd 4850 1GB. You will be good to go:) can play highest settings with 4x aa and hbao on:) btw how big is your power supply? The 4850 needs 450w at least. I recommend ya go get coolermaster 500w:) great psu for the price:) Total:(no psu)160~200 Total:(with psu) 160~200 plus 65:) Hope this helps

sorry got a typo at the price area: 4850 and psu: around 260 bucks. 4850 1gb alone: 160 to 200

3) A new PSU is required to run the new graphics card. A nice Vantec 500W can be had for $75.
So maximum you will need to fork out is $300.

firstly, this is what i recommend...
your processor is fine
upgrade ur rams to 4gb
your gfx is currently too low end...what is your monitor size?
