Hi. I have these problems..
1) I can't open L4D2. the moment i open my l4d2, my monitor power offs and has a 'tuh-lun'(sound when you plug out a usb from comp) sound. but, my speakers goes ahead and play the music of the game. i've tried the l4d2 game on my laptop and it works perfectly fine. so im puzzled whats the problem behind this. hope you guys can help! ^_^
2) I just installed alien versus predator (dx11)game today and started playing. however, the gameplay was friggin lag. it lags when i moves my mouse from left to right. i already set the resolution from high to low already, and the problem still persists.
my computer specs :
windows vista service pack 2
ram 2gb
intel core 2 duo 2.67ghz
dx version 11
ati radeon 5670 ( changed about 5 months ++ ago )
is it a problem with the vista? i do update my comp regularly...
why like that? T.T i just want to just my avp. damn nice!
thanks for helping!

While the 5670 does support DX11.......
It cannot handle DX11. Change the setting to DX9/DX10. Then you should have no problems playing it.
As for your initial problem, I've never encountered it before, so I'm unable to provide a solution or workaround just yet. If you press Alt-F4, are you able to wake the monitor up?
i see.. how to change my settings to dx9/10? can you please teach me?
for the first problem, even when i have alt f4, the screen is still blank. i need to restart comp(holding power button) or re-plug the monitor switch.

AvP has two different executables, one for DX9 and one for DX11. Go to the directory where you installed AvP and launch the DX9 executable. Which is the DX9 executable, I do not know because I don't have access to the game.
If it's still laggy in DX9, something's going wrong, because a X1900XT can play AvP just fine.
YAY!!! THANK YOU !! i can play le. damn fun haha
