  i find the build quality of Seagate is much better than Hitachi. i bought my Seagate 7200rpm 500GB @ $135 from Video-Pro. Bell has it @ $125, but i'm not sure if stock is available. i bought mine on the last day of PC Show anyway. now using it with Win 7. works perfectly!

  edit: ok...Bell's price has now risen to $138...wow. quite a significant increase..

  Different people different strokes bah...I took Hitachi because my old IBM was using it and its still working after years...

   

  well...if I am feeling rich next month...might just try out the Seagate...after all...I still have a spare 2.5" ext casing...
