Modify processor?

  Hi!

  Is it possible to modify the desktop Core i3 to the Mobile Core i3?

  The die is totally the same except for mobile parts.

  If possible, is it allowed?

  Don't have any wild ideas. Really. Your craving for knowledge is admirable, but your ideas are getting out of hand.

  Relax...i was only asking.

  It is not an IDEA.

  I don't have the equipment nor the money to do that, even if i wanted to.

  But it would be fun to actually modify a processor.
