guys...do u think the iphone 4 bought from england can work in sg ma?are their standard same as sg?
doubt so. usually it goes by the phone carrier(eg, like if you're singtel user, u can't put in a starhub sim card). They had this problem with 3GS, so probably if apple is stupid then the problem will still exist especially so for those countries.
Frankly, its hard to tell you. First is to make sure there is no sim lock. And you dunno if apple has plugged more loopholes. What if the apps shop doesn't work here?
I think we can see singtel bring it in sometime in september earliest. Jailbreaking might take awhile, because its a new OS. They made so many technological breakthroughs with it, but still cannot integrate Flash into its browser. Hey, wheres the FM radio?
Apple is not stupid, they are so smart, they can get away with it, not putting Flash into its browser for 3 whole years. My nokia E90 I've been using in 2007 had Flash in its browser. What gives?
sigh..i do not wish to get the phone in sg because it's gonna be very very expensive..if i can get the phone from other country at cheaper price why not...argh! us is selling at onli $199! darn cheap..

convert it to SGD, taking the exchange rate to be 1USD = 1.5SGD, and it'll be SGD300...

Hello, that price is sign line with AT&T leh. If it was only US299, it makes all the other manufacturers look very stupid right?
cause the phone is always freaking expensive in sg...dun think i can afford another line and pay propably like $600 or more for a new phone..if that was the case then i can say byebye to iphone 4 le... =(

I called Singtel and they told me it's released next month.

Cause in Singapore all the 3 Telcos belong to the government, they have a monopoly on the market.
This phone will be release next month
to me, it's the iPad-mini with a pre-installed phone app
Obviously not. You think all countries like Singapore? Don't allow telecoms to lock phones?
