help me to make wireless fro starhub cable modem?

  i sign up wit starhub 2mbps n get free home phone line wit tis starhub sbv5121 cable modem..nw i decided to use wireless rather than modem..i hear we need to use a router n link it to the cable modem so tat we can get wireless?..which kind of router is cheap n can be use together with the cable modem?..can anyone teach me step by step until in get wireless connected to my laptop?..i really wan to use wireless at home bt i really dun knw..pls post my thread:sweat_002:

  You can use any router with your wireless router with your modem. What you have to do in a nutshell is to just 

  1. Unplug the internet cable connected to your computer
  2. connect it to the port on the router
  3. Install the drivers of the router that comes with the router in a Cd/dvd
  4. and you are good to go.
