DIY: Guide to replacing the USB cable of your MOUSE

  What you need to get started:

  - X head screw driver

  -Flat head screw driver 

  - One USB cable with a berg connector end (or mini molex)  (optional)

  -A spoil mouse which has the same connector (two if you intend to swap cables)

   

  If the wires of the USB cable are soldered directly to the mouse, it is still possible to replace the USB, but it's not recommended, as it's quite tedious (as it requires you to have a solder iron and knowledge of which wire connects to which.

   

  I'm unsure if the USB cable with a berg connector end is available for sale at Simlim or Funan, but you can make one of your own.
