I have a ACER ASPIRE 4736G....... last time I can play games like L4D , blackshot and warcraft etc.... now whenever I play blackshot or L4D or Plant vs Zombie (etc) about a few minute it will auto shutdown my laptop... I wonder why would this happen? the only game that I know can be play in my laptop are Maplestory, CS1.6 and warcraft (sometimes it auto shutdown my laptop too! it depend on what I play)...I really need help!!
Does the game hang then it shuts down the laptop?
no it doesn't hang..... it just auto shutdown only....

hmmm i found out that the failure type Disruptive Shutdown..... version 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 appears at the days when my laptop auto shutdown when playing games....
is there any other thing that like video hard ware error that's stated in the reliability monitor?

lol, my com used to do that too way back when AOE was popular. I figured that it was because i didnt fully install the game or something. When i reinstalled it, it worked. but im technologically impaired, so... ...

Is there any click sound when the laptop shuts down? If so, it's overheating. My 4937G tends to do that.

Then it's overheating. Acer sets their thermal limits at 95-100C. Make sure you elevate the laptop when playing games or just get a cooling pad.
