Install into DOS 6.2...add it to autoexec and I will basically have a rough version of Windows95...

Well duh. Any 32-bit system max 4GB.
And yeah, I still have Windows 3.1 somewhere in my house. Made before I was born heh. And got old hardware I think can use with it, one Athlon 300MHz system.
i thought 32bit can only support up to 3gb and might not detect the extra 1gb?

Sorry, Starter (At least for OEMs) are meant for netbooks and there is no 64bit in it............ The only thing you cna do is to buy a higher version's serial. (With 64bit but have to clean install)

3.2GB displayed if U want to be more precise.
no point getting 64bit just to see that 0.8GB....if U want to go above 4GB....that's a different issue...
what fucking you do ? win7 32 bit can only support 4gb,but 64bit support 192gb.

What kind of attitude is this?
Anyway, you're wrong to say Windows 7 startup slow.
Its definitely faster than other versions.
I use 64-bit so not so sure about the difference.
But with my 930, startup takes only about 30-40secs.

I'm sure Windows 7 boots up faster than Vista. Slightly slower than Xp (well it could be faster depending on the specifications of the rig that runs Windows xp, however if they were of the same specifications xp would be faster)

I have the floppy diskettes that contain Windows 3.11
2 sets of them...
1 set requires 6 diskettes -- 1.44x6
