How to stop those stupid pop-ups?

  I use Mozilla Firefox, but those pop-ups keep popping up using Internet Explorer, and I switched the pop-up blocker to maximum, and it is still not working, those stupid ads keep popping out of nowhere and it's so annoying!!! My antivirus is also on but no use...... And I run on windows vista. Someone help...

  if u're using FF, click Tools > Options > Content > Check the Block pop up windows..

  Theres this add-ons on firefox. called the adblock plus,works like charm. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 Ad Muncher is another option available for all browsers.

  if your system already infected with malware, good luck stopping the pop ups

  There's malware on your system. Try cleaning up your com with MBAM or some other anti-malware.
