Many people are saying that windows XP has better search engine(A program to find all files on a computer)then compared to windows Vista.I im once a window XP user and its search engine is great I could just type in any files and it would locate it for me.I had since change my computer to a windows vista(home premium)and its search engine is bad it can't seems to locate all the files(only some). Can anyone give me some advice on its settings?Maybe its settings could be adjusted and hopefully it would make the search engine more accurate and would be able to find all files on a computer?Anyone using windows Vista had problems with its search features?
By The Way...some people might not use it before but it is very useful for me i would be able to type in the file name and it would locate it.(I type in file names which contain viruses and i would be able to delete them)
Windows XP's start menu has a button called 'search' while windows vista has a 'bar-shaped'search engine that says 'start search' at the start menu...so this is the difference.
I would like to learn how to delete a single virus file but i guess it would be troublesome to load safe mode.I prefer using the search engine to locate any files(containing viruses)and just delete them from there. That's about all...your advices or help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
