my laptop toshiba motherboard down and need to repair for ard $400-$500? is it good deal?
And have anyone use Lenovo brand before? being recommended for the latest U330
Just get a new laptop. Newer laptops will give you a boost in performance, compared to repairing you current laptop. What you can do is just salvage as much as you can from the old laptop and try and sell it to offset the cost of the new laptop. The HDD, RAM, CPU are good examples of what to salvage. You can also salvage your graphics card, if you have one.

you can try selling it back to toshiba. i think they may have some cash in for certain notebook models that you want to return to them not using any more. provide i think the waranty seal has not been torn. call or write in to them check.
but if you go as suggested to sell by piece meat maybe the ram and hdd can. hdd make you you do not have personal stuff on it else people may still salvage the info with special programs. motherboard and cpu for laptop very difficult to sell. unless peoples at sim lim need the parts usable and wants to buy from you. most of the time the graohics card and processors for notebooks are soldered or dead in with the mobo so depends on your model.
