  Hi im looking for a DSLR camera in singapore. I prefer Nikon.

  I like D90 but My budget is less than 1k...

  Any idea where to get cheap prices for DSLR cameras?

  D3000? i heard this model not bad. got a Guide Mode to guide u through if u are unsure of some features. $988 for this model..

  do not go to places like Best  or whatever.. go scout around.. i was actually quoted $810 for the D3000 with kit lens...

  anyway, the Sony Alpha whatever basic DSLR with kit lens is less than $700 retail.. should be able to get lots less than that

  IT tech forum now also sarport digital immaging hardware. upgrade the forum already

   

  if you insist D90 try the second hand market. see of also the seller can pack in the kit lens to start with. if buy second hand to take note of the shutter count already clocked on the camera. take a picture form the cam and use software to check. if not just upload to flickr and under the image click 'more propertise' to checkthe photo number which shall be the shutter count.

  D90...? haha...omg I think that wont be possible unless u're talking about 2nd hand or body only :P

  firts hand D60 can but out of production already. maybe try some entry level sony or D3000. the person taking the photo is important, not alwasy the camera hardware. especially for photographers starting out with no knowleagde of photography or have not build up a full interest yet.
