external optical drive for netbook

  hi all,

  i'm currently using an acer netbook, and for my job requirement i need to install some software on my netbook through the CDs provided (no alternative installation method).

  as a result i may have to purchase an external optical drive to aid me in this.

  can anyone recommend an affordable and reliable brand/model of an external optical drive? what type should i get?

  if just a usb CD/DVD rom (no write or re-write), can get for less than 50 bucks at your frenly ah beng shop in SLS

  I got one HP one can do reading and writing. Used it for my netbook before it up lorry. If you are interested can PM me. I think i used it for less than 10 times..
