I cant update my Directx.
The eror msg is "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Crytographic Services are enabled the cabinet file certificate is valid."
Im using windows 7 home premium
How do i go about solving this?

i read something about the xcatroot folder having problem in c:/windows/system32. Anyone have any idea?

Can you verify whether the Cryptographic Services are running using the links pasted by an earlier poster above?
And I don't think there's a need for update since Windows 7 comes with DX11 which is backward-compatible with DX9 and DX10 graphics cards.

The cryptographic services are running.
But the software im trying to install requires me to do so. If not i cant use certain functions. I have a problem trying to install adobe flash player also.
