as above.
2 similar problems i face. first, warcraft runs in full screen by default, but it doesn't on my laptop. instead of filling the screen, it forms a square, leaving the two ends of my laptop screen black. second, some older games that were made for windows 95/98 were meant to be played on full screen but they don't on my laptop.
i've tried changing the compatibility modes plus the 'run in 256 colours' part, both didn't work. i'm not sure what else to try.
thanks for all suggestions

nope it doesn't work. thanks for suggesting.
i've tried changing the in-game resolution and it doesn't work.
under control panel -> display -> screen resolution, the recommended resolution (also my current settings) is 1366 x 768. i don't even know if that's relevant.
try 1024x768?

Hi tut4nkhm3n,
According to one of the post from the link, there seems to some way to tweak the game itself instead of the laptop to make it appears full screen.
Cheers.

after a thorough search, i found a link that gave me a solution from the site you suggested. thanks a lot, i really appreciated the help.
cheers.
but the sad thing is that it doesn't work for the older games. it doesn't even appear under the registry so i can't edit the resolution there.
does anyone know how to go to the registry for any particular software/program on a windows comp?
like a convenient way to "right-click go to registry" kinda thing for a particular software/program?
any ideas anyo?
