So currently i'm having extra $$$, Wanna use it to upgrade my desktop, Which should i need to upgrade?
Current Specs:
Processor : Core i7 920 @ 2.7ghz
Ram : 8GB DDR3
GPU : 2x GTS 250 @ 1GB total
HDD : 1 TB HDD @ 7,200 RPM
Anything need to upgrade? Thinking of liquid cooling and new big reasonable casing. budget is $500,
Bigger Wattage Psu and fans :P
Liquid cooling? My psu is enough, Unless i'm putting a liquid cooled radiator and stuff. than i will need a bigger psu.

You want liquid cooled, but don't want a radiator, hose fittings etc., go for Corsair H50.
What's your current casing? How many fans, 5.25" drive bays etc. And why are you using 8GB with i7? 8GB means dual-channel already, not triple-channel.
your video card. get a 280 instead of the 250.

fans. :D
i have a new stack of 80mm fans. total number of 80mm fans i have is now around 15 or 16.

Liquid cooling without radiator? Not possible. Even Domino ALC, Corsair H50 and Asetek LCLC (OEM) have radiators, even though they are quite tiny in comparison.

Nono, I mean i want the full set of liquid cooling + new case. How much would it be? Anyone can check for me? Thanks!
Can i ask why is 8GB bad? And how do i make it triple channel? Whats the difference for dual and triple? Thanks!

SLS has a shop, does liquid cooled PCs. Alternatively, you can do yourself. I dunno how much though.
And 8GB isn't bad, just that 8GB + Socket 1136 means that the chip will revert to Dual-channel operation. The difference between dual and triple is that dual accesses 2 DIMMS at once, and triple accesses 3 at once. This increases the amount of data that can transferred simultaneously, and decreases latency. Think of it as a (R)AID 0 for RAM, except with 3 drives instead of 2. To enable triple channel, populate the triple-channel slots. Or install DIMMs in multiples of 3. I'm guessing you have the DX58SO or a similar board with 4 DIMM slots. Removing a DIMM from the other-coloured slot might work, but isn't guaranteed if the DIMMs aren't part of a kit.
Thanks! I'm getting another 3GB of ram to fully fill it up to 12GB, Anyway, I'm don't know how to fix liquid cool. Complicated i guess. But i'm still going with the liquid cool. Cause i don like high fan noise when playing games.
