SLT is a good place to start.. although the fans there are mostly dell replacements, just change the pinout and you're ready to roll.
on second thought, those should be able to hit 5000RPM and above easily...
you know, i'm really tempted to buy those 40mm AVC focused flow fans from uvnium.
not that i need them or what, but the sound they make is just... pure win.
