Automatic calling system?

  Okay, this is my case. Everyday within certain timings my house phone will ring with unknown number and whenever I pick up, there's nobody talking, so this is maybe a prank. But the thing is this has been happening for 2+ years already! I'm changed my number once and only relatives ana relevant authorities know about it, but it's still happening. So I'm suspecting if it's a computerised automatic calling system. Any way to confirm it?

  is there any beep beep sound ?
  
  previously i have someone keep trying to fax thing to my home number, if u pick up and hang without letting it fax finished, the phone will keep ringing non-stop ... so pick up, let it fax finished and the fax will stop for the time being, till the person sent the next fax :lol:
  
  I call up singtel and they handled it for me .. no more annoymous faxing to my home

  Whenever I pick up I can only hear some background sound and after that it hung up by itself. Can anyone be so wierd to keep making prank calls to my house everyday since 2+ years back?

  Hi Coldzero,

  If that is the case, you can try calling up SingTel, tell them about your problem, and see if they are able to help you trace down the caller.
