Lap top wont shut down

  After the stupid auto windows update

  my laptop lost its ability to shut down when i turn off the normal way (Start - Shut down)

  The only way was to manually shut down by pressing and holding the button

  Is there any way i can do a normal shutdown? Whats the problem here?

  Maybe the problem is with the update. Try to uninstall the update. Not very sure here, need more advice from people

  what operating system and what windows update it was.

  1. go to your Windows update
  2. click on Check update history
  3. Take a screen shot.

  try do a system restore to the date before doing windows update. that way is much faster.
