Dumb to buy a Laptop/desktop now?

Heard the Sitex is coming soon.
But my Com of 6 years finally gave up on me.
Use to be i had to press the start button 5x to start it. Now press how many x also gone....
So just wanna ask you guys here shld i wait till the show?
Cos hands a bit itchy.... wanna play my games. but dun wanna get ripped off.
Went to Courts this afternoon & their guys kept on saying that Sitex show price no diff.

So, cannot compare prices online now so need to go down to Sim Lim Square to check prices loh.

If squeezing past thousands of people, long queues, getting flyers crammed into your face and going home with an aching feet is a good thing, then by all means, wait for Sitex -- as the final day of the show guarantees good discounts all the time.
Otherwise, get a laptop now lor. Wait for better price also quite redundant, because everyone knows that computers/laptops prices confirm go down after some time. So what you buy now confirm costs cheaper next month, or next year. Who knows~

sitex prices are competitive. They give freebies as well. If no diff then why would there be a crowd at sitex every year?

Yes .. No diff.. Onli like a few dollars lesser with a few cheapo gifts .. Not worth the squeezing ard shit.
Trust mi been so many time, mi and my friends wanna wait till PC show or any shit.. In the end its like a few dollars cheaper only.

P4 was at high price still @ dat time......

Generally there are no major price differences in PC shows. At the most, you will probably see about $300 difference. You are likely to get more goodies though when you buy from a PC show than when you buy from a retail shop.
However, with Windows 7 launch, I'm not sure if there are such goodies... usually a new Windows launch means that prices will get higher for a while before it starts coming down.
Lappy prices don't change much, unlike PCs. If you want to play games, suggest you go for a PC instead of lappy, unless you are playing casual games such as those on Facebook, Miniclip, etc. PCs are also simpler and easier to upgrade, thus saving money.
