Do you miss dial up connection?
I miss it very much. Now using broadband want to switch back to using dial up but now no more dial up liao
Why do you miss dial-up? Broadband was a step forward in internet access. Of course, the only thing I miss was the connection tone during log-on. That sound was awesome.
I very sentimental person.
We should preserve dial up connection just like how we preserve out customs and traditions.

But culture and technology cannot be compared as the same. Culture has been in our roots for hundred of years. Technology? Only a few years. Besides, if you use dial-up on SGF, you're gonna wait a long time, because 56kbps really CMI nowadays. Even Wireless@SG is faster.
I understand how you feel. I keep an old K6-II system around because, well, it's history. You're never gonna get another one just like it.
Reminds me of childhood liao, I LOVED this sound for some reason :P
Awesome.
use dial-up cannot use house phone where got good

Sentimental lah bodoh.
For those people who use dial up and never change to broadband, the service provider such as singtel, starhub etc will auto change for them to broadband or how?

No more dial-up. Free dial-up was discontinued by SingTel, and then they were offered cheap Broadband, I think 512kbps?
SingTel was the last with dial-up, then no more....They still have dial-up at US, for during tornados and stuff.
