  i got a problem..why is it that sometime when i on my desktop..it works..but sometimes when i on..nothing happen?as in..the power is on..the led is light up..but the hard-disk like run for 2 sec then stop liao..then LCD show nothing also..it's like..sometimes can use..sometimes cannot...

  what could be the problem and how to solve?without changing the whole com.. coz i no money -.-

  Did you overclock?
  It could be the RAM issues

  Just wondering are you using a MSI motherboard?

  my computer is those 9yrs ago de dell...so i not sure what type of motherboard..so how do i solve..even if its overclock..the com can be on also ma.. >.< help me plz..cant work again now...have to share com with bro.. >.<

  Actually it sound a lot to me like the ram, or the power supply.

  Any other symptoms?

  9 years old computer, is it a pentium 3? old parts are harder to find.

  get a new PC

  copy any important data into new PC

  cos it sounds like the old PC is dying

  When the symptoms appear, is your CPU fan running?

  Try removing the desktop internal components such as graphics card, ram, harddisk, motherboard, power supply and clean them using a blowgun, brush and vaccuum cleaner. After cleaning, put them into the PC and try switching on your PC.

  It might not work but you can just give it a try.
