I was wondering have anyone ever tried to replace your first generation iPod Touch because of dying battery issue. I contacted with Apple Support twice but I got different answer one claiming that I have to pay 75% of the original price and another claim that she do not know but only can estimate around 60 - 80% of the original price. So in the end, I just want to know if you have replaced before and how much does it cost?
Note: I did not opt for AppleCare cause I forgotten after collecting it frm the Singnet's promo
Really? That's what Apple Support told you? I never called them before, but what I heard was that 1G iPod Touch is already discon.. But 60% - 80% of original price is exp la.. I know of one shop at ground lvl of Funan that does ipod batt replacement. Not sure of the price, but definitely cheaper than doing it in Apple, but of course there's risk to take in replacing it with a third party la..
