Hi, i have an annoying problem that i would like you guys to help diagnose for me.
I have a file that is 4.5GB large, however, when i try to copy it into
my thumbdrive with a free space of 20GB, a message pops up saying that
I do not have enough disk space, and asks me to clear some data. What's
wrong?
defrag your harddisc.
Might be a problem with your thumbdrive's file system. NTFS and FAT32, can never remember the differences.
Then again, are you transferring that 4.5gb file from a Mac into an NTFS-format thumbdrive?
oh i know le, FAT format cannot transfer more than 4GB of data. Must switch to NTFS.

There you go.
Were u by any chance copying that file to the root folder of the thumb drive?
If ya, try create a sub-folder and copy the file into this sub-folder.
If no, then can ignore this post.
