Okay, while im scanning my desktop for virus(u cansee the infection in the other thread), let me show u guys the new p55 mobo from Gigabyte, it is the p55-UD6, meaning it is one of the top of the line series
It supports the new core i5/i7 in socket LGA1156 onlly
24 phase power!
6 ram sllots for ddr3 dual channel, i tink on the web if i did not read wrongly only some slot take dual channel or sth like that
This should be a feature for trouble shooting if i am nt wrong(starting to lose touch with technology), i did not read about this mobo yet
Comes with an power button for benchmarking, replaces the need to use the 'screw driver shorting' method to powerup the system
3 way sli/crossfire
eSata/usb combo, i think it will enable the system to power an esata drive with just one cable
Look at the nice heatsink
if im correct, there is no north bridge on the mobo, all is controlled via a circuit in the processor
24phase power/ddr3
Back I/O panel
ps/2kb and mouse, esata, usb, dual gigabit lan, firewire, audio etc etc
Did u see that? TEN sata 2 ports
MEANS, TEN HARDDISKS! !!!
Another view, if u are buying this board, i hope u purchase a big casing, or at least one which have enough space for u to plug the sata cable in without much hassle( if u dun wan too much trouble upgrading)
Reason is that if u install the mobo, the ports are facing the front drive bays, which means more difficulty to plug the cables in
The Antec Skeleton casing for Mini ITX system
Check it out, the corsair powersupply, with SEVEN YEARS OF WARRANTY!
nope, not a printing error
Oh, the quite powerful msi gtx 260 graphics card
2 dvi, 1 svideo
Some specs on the mini itx systems
ok i have nothing more to post, quality not good cos it was taken by my video cam, which is more meant for videos...
Pics taken at where i was working at

Hey pillowtalks, you know how to set up a computer from scratch?

Stock mobo never stock up CPU
Never gonna give up my trusty Q6600 though, I don't like the fact that LGA 1156 only has 16 lanes PCI-E from the CPU. Cannot realise full potential of graphics card.
I see the ION badge, why got negative charge beside the ION? I thought the ION platform was supposed to be a positively-charged Atom?

duno why they no stock up, maybe haven deliver or wad
wad to do, they wan put the northbridge into the cpu...budden the i5 from reviews really can outperform the i7s in some applications, lga775 going to phase out soon, tech really too fast..., the Q8200 i tink will be gone soon also
ion is the itx gpu, should be the 9400, that gpu cannot game much lea, have burn one or two before in the shop

I know the ION platform, but I find it funny that they put negative sign instead of positive. (Eh, You burn the Atom or the GPU?)
i5 outperform should be because their Turbo Boost clock higher. i7 860 TB goes up to 3.73GHz lei. Somemore you got direct connection to PCI-E bus, rather than having to use QPI to go to X58 northbridge, then go to PCI-E cards. I still don't like having to split x8/x8 for dual GPU operation. (I shouldn't be complaining since my mobo is PCI-E 1.1, I get same bandwidth -_-)

the gpu lah, i tink it is a palit 9400gt gpu, not exactly burn, but might be manufacturer fault because after using it for testing a few times there were lots of artifacts, and suspect it is the video ram. I've been to the rma center, and lots of palits are seen also
Ya, no one likes to have x8.x8 for crossfire/sli. How isit that they manage to build they build the connections. So the p55 dun have northbriddge, as it is being handled by the cpu, and the p55 will now take care of the usb and audio and other stuff, so will the temp go up higher?
Speaking of temps, one customer came to look for core i7 before it reach sg, he told me a lot about fan design till i got bored talking to him. he told me about the fan manufacturers like foxconn. sth about fan blade tilting at a certain angle creating how many cfm of air flow, and some 478s have some part of the heatsink made using pure copper?? and one of the manufacturers have their fan operating at a higher current etc. Wonder where he got all the infos from

Palit is a decent brand, maybe you bad luck or bad timing?
I don't think temps will go higher, if the 1366 i7s are any kind of meter.
