PROs in Computer? Come!

  I intent to install a mac OS onto my Lenovo Y430 laptop. but trust me, i know nuts about how am i suppose to go about it. Currently, the laptop runs on window vista home premium SP1. it's there since the first day i bought this laptop. anyone help pls?

  Eh mods, am I free to tell this guy how to do, or cannot?

   

  Okay, nevermind. Do you have a suitable build (or distro) of OS X? If not, you can search online for a suitable build, I personally use iATKOS v5i. Further instructions will be given if the mods give green light (since this is illegal in the first place).

  i dont like the com's outlook, but my cousin say for the price the shop keeper was offering me, it's a bargain alr. with the same spec for other brands like sony, will cost me $2k plus, or anything near $2k. is it true?

  sim lim, shop name i forget alr. must check again.

  actually the com comes with 2gb ddr3 only, but the shop keeper say he will offer me $80 cash back, and suggest that i use the cash back to buy another 2gb to add on to the ram from another shop on the top level. i agreed, and bought another 2gb for $48, meaning cash back only $32 dollar lor.

  Illegal in 2 ways.

  1. Downloading it is illegal

  2. Apple explicitly states that OS X is to be installed on APPLE products only. Not that anyone cares though.

   

  I use iATKOS, since they include just about everything you need in the install process (Graphics drivers, Fan control, Ethernet controller etc.) Works fine on my Acer.

  You can also try Kalyway, iDeneb if iATKOS doesn't work, iDeneb if you have AMD CPUs. Kalyway didn't support my graphics card though.

   

  And Acer not that bad, I got mine cheap and its pretty fast, with a few differences than yours, like CPU and GPU. Stealth Black FTW XD
