Downloading Video From Com to Phone

Well I am using FireFox and lets say I go on youtube and download an episode from there. the same with movies and such as I am using an Ant toolbar it detects video that is embedded on a website and lets me download it.
But is it illegal to do so I mean to download if off using a download manager and not directly from the website?

If it's a copyrighted video, what do you think?
However, a lot of things tend to just pass until you go overboard.

Then why aren't movies being posted on sites not being taken down are those copyrighted if they are not taken down? And what do you mean by overboard?

It means that it is always okay... till you are caught... then the law will deal with you.

But the movie then convert and put into your cell phone lor... but then it is illegal... I think that there are paid download... check your mobile phone site.

Hmm even downloading off youtube and putting it in the phone is not allowed? bummer
