netbook I think the memory is too little to install anti virus and microsoft office? it will make the netbook very slow right if the momory is too little?
Yes.
Depends on what are you going to do. Desktop is always better, cheaper.
Laptops/Notebook are convenient to carry around.
Netbooks are for light usage. People like reporters are kinda using it, due to its lightweight.

can open but sometimes the format etc will be different.
so i scare if i send resume using open office, later the company opne using microsoft office than the paragraph etc will be distorted than jialat liao..
Anyway, what if I buy a pirated micorsoft office and download in? I heard sometimes the system detect that it is a pirated software than will auto shut down by itself?

It is not recommended to use pirated one lahz.. If you really want, then don't go windows update loe. Then no one will know u use pirated one. Another way is get your friend or whoever that work in a BIG company and get the open license key of the company and use it loe. hahaz.
However, i would say that you can use open office first and microsoft is launching a free online MS office soon and u can use it by then. :) This is to compete with google. So no need to purchase office yet. :)
