PROJECT: CHANGE TOMORROW!
Your imagination and creativity can transform the future!
Student developers from all over Asia South are preparing to “duke it out” over Open Source technologies at the first Open Jive Regional Challenge, a competition for students organised by Sun Microsystems.
Come 28 July, five teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, will meet in Singapore to showcase their projects before a panel of judges and IT professionals, as they vie for the Open Jive Regional Champion title.
The Challenge, themed ‘Project Change Tomorrow’, will see teams demonstrate solutions that enhance the way people work, play, shop and collaborate online through a myriad of desktop, mobile and Web 2.0 applications.
The Open Jive Regional Challenge is being held as part of this year’s Sun Developer Days – an event which brings together visionaries, leading experts and developers to seize the next wave of technological innovation through Open Source.
Admission is FREE.
